Wornden did an amazing job with our engagement photoshoot! We absolutely loved our gallery, he made us feel super comfortable and guided us with our posing! We will cherish these photos forever!

Flavia & Jose

Wornden was a pleasure to work with! We booked him last minute for a post-wedding photo shoot and love our photos. We spoke beforehand to go over what we wanted to get from the session, and Wornden pulled through. His photos were creative, had great lighting, and really captured the moment.

Ruth & Fish

Wornden is a top class, A+ natural and gifted at taking photos. His editorial style and clean cut aesthetic made him our first choice for our engagement and wedding photos. He has not disappointed us at all. He made our day both occasions, offered support for building our photo timeline, and surprised us with an additional intern shooter to make the day smoother. While we could have chose anyone, we connected with Wornden on a hometown level and shared a vision. Thank you Wornden!

Syd & Pat

My husband and I highly recommend Wornden to take your pictures! He has been our photographer for everything - from our engagement to our wedding to even our family photoshoots. Wornden is kind, punctual, patient, super fun and one of the best photographers we know.

Angie & Andre

Wornden was an absolute blast to work with for our engagement shoot. I am definitely not comfortable in front of the camera and he made us feel so relaxed. He traveled to a spot we had picked out; Driftwood Beach in Lusby MD. Although he had never been there before, as soon as he showed up his wheels were spinning with different ideas on where he wanted to shoot pictures. He was extremely communicative in the weeks leading up to the shoot as well. He sent us so many photos, all of them were fantastic. We loved how he was able to use all parts of the beachy area to include a wooded area. Our favorites are the candid shots. We look forward to working with Wornden in the future!

Kate & Enzo

Wornden did a phenomenal job with both our engagement shoot and our wedding. The photos were amazing and they came out better than we were expecting. Wornden is also very easy to work and communicate with and his vision always comes together so beautifully. I highly recommend him as a photographer for all of your life's biggest moments!

Wedding at Strong Mansion

The first wedding of 2025 began with Yina and Norman at the Liriodendron Mansion, a historic estate that perfectly mirrored their sense of timelessness and grace. Outside, winter painted the world in muted tones, but inside, their warmth and joy filled every room.
The day unfolded with intention. Moments Made Simple, LLC ensured a seamless flow, guiding guests through a celebration that felt effortless. Rouge Catering elevated the experience with a menu that was both thoughtful and memorable, while Wanton Poppies brought life into the space with florals that felt organic yet refined.
Yina wore an elegant gown from Love It At Stella’s, her look understated yet radiant. Norman’s tailored suit from Men’s Wearhouse matched her poise, together creating a portrait of quiet sophistication. The evening came alive with music by Dappered DJs filling the air with rhythm and energy as friends and family joined them on the dance floor.
For me, the honor was in documenting not just the details, but the feeling—the way Yina and Norman looked at one another, the laughter shared, and the calm presence of their love. This wedding set the tone for 2025: simple, joyful, and deeply meaningful.

A Winter Wedding at the Liriodendron Mansion

This August, I had the honor of photographing Kitty and Darnell's wedding at The Bayfront Club in Edgemere, MD. Their celebration was a beautiful blend of waterfront elegance and cultural tradition. The bride honored her Taiwanese heritage through her gown from East Meets Dress, her timeless beauty look by Artaestehticstudio, and a heartfelt tea ceremony for her parents. From arriving in style on the Reveur Sauvage Private Yacht Club to dancing the night away produced by NYX Events, every detail felt intentional and meaningful.

A Modern Asian Fusion Wedding at The Bayfront Club in Edgemere, MD.

Thoughtful Planning. Honest Storytelling. Crafted for a Lifetime.

Your wedding is more than a single day. It's months of anticipation, meaningful moments, and the beginning of a new chapter together.

That's why the experience doesn't begin when I arrive with a camera. It begins the moment you reach out.

From our first conversation to the day your photographs become part of your home, every step is designed to help you feel prepared, present, and confident that your story is being preserved with care.

The Journey Doesn't End Here

The wedding day may come and go, but the memories continue to grow in meaning with time.

My hope is that years from now, you'll pull your album from the shelf, pause in front of a framed photograph, or gather with family around these memories and be reminded not only of how your wedding looked, but how it truly felt.

Experience

Wornden Ly Weddings | Serving Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and Beyond.

Write in the voice of a quiet, intentional wedding photographer whose style blends editorial structure with documentary honesty. The tone should feel refined but approachable, like someone who values meaning over trend. Every word should carry weight without excess.

The writing should be:

Real (authentic, never overpromised)

Intentional (every word matters)

Poetic (but not flowery—more like still water, not glitter)

Subtly luxurious (evoking elegance through restraint)

Quietly confident (no hard sells, just calm clarity)

Avoid clichés. Instead, write like someone who deeply observes human moments and respects the space they take up. Prioritize human connection over hype. Think Grand Seiko over Rolex, cashmere over sequins, a handwritten note over a mass email.

Use short, layered sentences. Create mood through pacing. When describing emotions or events, favor imagery that reflects presence, light, space, or memory. Write like a photographer who sees meaning in the way someone exhales before a vow.

Don’t just describe—curate the experience through the tone itself.
